Iraq Veteran Against War assaulted Vietnam Veteran

Postby Dispatch » Fri Mar 14, 2008 10:42 am

This morning Vietnam Veteran activist Jerry Kiley was jumped from behind and assaulted during the so-called Iraq Winter Soldier hearings currently in progress. Jerry, a long time POW/MIA activist and co-founder of Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, stood up during the meeting and told the gathering of so-called peace activists that Kerry was a traitor that caused “good men” to die and that they were also traitors if they continued to lie about our Iraq War veterans..

Without warning, a “very large” man jumped Jerry, 61, from behind and lifted him enough to drag him into the lobby toward some concrete steps. When Jerry asked the man to let go, telling him he was a veteran, the man said “I don’t give a F--k and tried to flip Jerry down the steps.

Jerry saved himself by gabbing the handrail.

Once outside, the man pushed Jerry toward the Police who arrested and charged him with disorderly conduct. Jerry suffered a twisted neck and bruised back.

This is getting more than interesting.

Yes, in their house they are more than justified in attempting to control what is said, but not with assualting people.

Hope the police understand by now that they arrested the wrong person...

We must have some lawyers among us. It would appear that Jerry has grounds for a good aggravated assault case, personally against the person who "assaulted" him and against the host organization. I sincerely hope someone has suggested he pursue the matter.

Meet Barry Romo. He is Vietnam Veterans Against the War's National Coordinator and has been an union organizer for the last 39 years.. Romo is one of John Kerry's original Winter Soldiers. He was a panelist in today's Winter Soldier dog and pony show testimony.

Romo was overhead bragging to an Iraq War veteran (who is scheduled to testify March 15) about how much he hates the "Eagles" and how much he enjoyed roughing one up today He said he wanted to kill him, referring to Eagle supporter Jerry Kiley who was physically assaulted during the March 14 meeting. Kiley was then arrested charged with disorderly conduct.

Pictured below are members of Winter Soldier security at the March 14 meeting. Romo is pictured near the rear of the table on the left.

Winter Soldier Iraq Veteran being coached by VVAW member

Postby niccloth » Fri Mar 14, 2008 11:29 pm

A young nervous Iraq Veteran is being coached in this video by a VVAW member/IVAW volunteer - it is obivous that the young man is very nervous - listen carefully to what the camera man is saying - will be interesting to see if the young veteran testifies tomorrow to the "sh*t" he saw - he didn't seems to bite in this video. So sad to see a young man being used like this - "forgive them for they know not what they do"

Ted, Romo was out at the entrance the entire day.....*stupervising* the security people & sent one of his street puppets over to antagonize the guys. Hal Malston I believe was his name. He flipped me a "press ID card" & got nervous as bat dropping when I asked him if he'd verfiy whom he said he was & asked him to produce ID to back it up.

You had to of been there, Ted. lmao!.

Tell his counter-part I said howdy & make sure that Kiley gets his rotor cup looked over good. He was a hurting unit.

Romo took video of one of our signs as a backdrop. He indicated in his video that he had received training while at Ft Dicks on the proper way to perform an abortion with a bayonet. We informed the police and they were not happy campers. He was not seen by our group the remainder of the day...

Alrighty, USMC! Those men deserve excellent mention for sure. And to think, by accident I found the CO of the 488th MP Company, Baghdad Airport among their ranks too....is that kewl or what? ;)
